general info

Children

There is no minimum age for attending the festival, we do however suggest that under 16’s are accompanied by an adult at all times and are kept away from the high density area directly in front of the stage.

Infants (under 3 years old) are allowed in free. No ticket is required but ID of child is essential. We regret that we are unable to extend free admission or a concessional rate to older children. This is due to limited site capacity.

A passport or birth certificate is considered suitable ID for children under 3 years old.

Performances may feature material not suitable for children that we are unable to predict and classify due to the nature of live performance.

We suggest people bringing pushchairs/buggies or babies/young children do not position themselves in the area directly in front of the stage due to the larger crowd densities and the possibility of crowd surges in this area.

If you are attending with family and friends pick a meeting point and stick to it in case you become separated. If you lose a child, report immediately to a festival steward.

Please be aware that repeated and prolonged exposure to amplified sound may cause permanent hearing damage.
A toilet specifically for families with young children is available at the Welfare tent near the entrance gates. Please respect that this toilet is for young children only.

Lost & Found

Please do not bring irreplaceable items of value to Bingley Music Live. Be sensible and keep your cash, cards, camera and keys close about your person preferably in a zipped pocket or bag. Bradford Council or security cannot be held responsible for lost or stolen items that cannot be recovered. Tag your keys with your phone number and a friend’s address. We find many keys after the event and marking them means we can contact you. If you find anything whilst at the festival please hand it in to your nearest steward and we will try and reunite the item with its owner. All property either found or turned in will be handed to the ticket office on site who will log the items on collection. They will then be held centrally until two weeks after the event.

The Local Community

We are very privileged to be able to use Myrtle Park and we would like to continue to do so year after year. We need your help to keep the local community happy. Please ensure you leave the site quietly. Do not leave litter in the streets. Observe the parking restrictions around the site and do not park in the resident parking areas. Apart from causing an annoyance to the residents you will be issued with a parking fine and may be towed away. It’s much better to use the FREE Park & Ride

Be mindful of your litter! Bins are provided at food stands and on exits so please help keep Myrtle Park and the surrounding area tidy. Bring plastic bags with you to put your rubbish into and then find the nearest bin or leave it bagged up for us to collect.

Baby changing facilities & Child Toilet

For your convenience and comfort nappy changing facilities are available at the welfare tent near to the entrance gates.

Also available at this location is a toilet specifically for families with young children. Please respect that this toilet is for young children only.
